The Connections Team is there to serve people who are new to the church and exploring whether they would like to be a part of World Harvest Bible Church. We help people to connect with a local Life Group and encourage them to find which Team would best suit their gifts and talents.
The primary function of a counting team member is to assist in the initial processing of church offerings.
Our aim is to clearly present the church’s vision in a creative and entertaining way, to provide sermon illustrations and other creative elements as required by church leadership and to support other ministries through various design projects including video, print and online content.
This team spends time meeting people from the community on their own territory. There is no plan or agenda during these times but they always start and end with prayer. We spend time with people we know as well as meeting new faces while we are out. We regard this as our first point of contact with the families and individuals on the doorstep of the church.
There are several opportunities to help, with the drop in sessions supplying food to clients, with collecting food from the main store to bring to WHBC and helping with collections at supermarkets on specific dates.
We meet on Friday evenings to pray for specific requests as well as for people who attend the meetings in person.
The primary function of the Hospitality Team is to serve refreshments to all church members and visitors on a Sunday and at other events that we host.
Volunteers are needed to present, record and edit promotional videos for upcoming events and opportunities at WHBC.
A point of contact for any enquiries and booking for events where information is also available for people to pick up.
This team maintains the computer equipment around WHBC, updating software and looking after hardware in the offices and other locations.
Our aim is to give every single person in our communities multiple opportunities to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We provide donations for the WHBC freezer, which holds meals that are given to church members in need of support.
Our function is to support our existing missionaries in prayer and with physical help when needed and to promote missions within WHBC. We also aim to offer opportunities for people to experience a mission trip either locally or abroad, whether short-term, medium-term or long term.
Volunteers will promote personal money management skills and provide guidance built on the foundation of God’s Word to help others to trust God, be in control of their money and enjoy the many blessings that He has given us.

Prayer is the engine room of the church, it is the power behind the ministry at WHBC and we believe that as we pray we will see God move in a mighty way. We are here to support the Pastors, the ministry and the work of WHBC. We currently meet to pray from 9:30 until 10:25am every Sunday morning in the Lounge upstairs at the Sanctuary.
We sell high quality Bibles, books and other materials that complement the teaching at WHBC.
We support Asylum Seekers reporting to the Home Office on Dallas Court. offer a sympathetic listening ear to the many problems they are facing, show them that someone cares about them and signpost them to other agencies who we think can help them. We are open from 9:00 to 2:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Traffic Team is here to serve the congregation and visitors by providing an efficient, orderly welcome as the first face that is seen at any Sunday or special event.
The primary function of the WHBC Welcome Team is to provide a loving friendly welcome to everyone coming through the doors of WHBC especially our first time guests.
The team includes a wide range of musical and technical abilities both on stage and at the tech desk, but we all worship God. We are looking for worshippers who will support and encourage the church to encounter God and who want to develop in their musical and technical skills.

A vibrant ministry geared toward young people aged between 12 to 18. Our vision is to see young people taking ownership of their own faith and living out a full-on relationship with God. We see our youth on fire and passionate to make HIM known in their world, their city, their nation and to the ends of the earth. We see them as a catalyst for what God is planning to do in this generation.
